The astronaut themed art with adorable cartoon animals inside are immediately identifiable by people who are in the space and associate them with wealth and prestige. When a collector uses a Spacebudz as their PFP it shows they have resources and knowledge and should be respected the same way BAYC holder is on Ethereum. Spacebudz was the brain child of fully doxed creators Zeig and Alessandro Konrad. Allesandro is also the creator of Nami wallet which made it possible to see your NFT have them communicate with websites and first to be able to send multiple NFT’s at once! These new wallet innovations gave credibility to the projects creator and the blockchain as a whole. Spacebudz has many firsts. Essentialy, it was the first NFT project on Cardano and it was first 10,000 piece collection there. It was also the first CNFT to sell for one million US and the first to use smart contracts in its marketplace.
Spacebudz launched at the end of March 2021 and sold out after 4 days. Mint prices varied starting at only 10 ada for the first 1000 then rising incrementally for each 1000 till the price reached 100 ada. I would like to mint a Spacebudz for 10 ada, how about you? Unfortunately, Spacebudz has been the target of many scammers so please be careful acquiring these assets from any other site than Spacebudz.io. Always be sure to check policy id is correct and you can find the number on their official discord. Also, there is no V2 mint! It is a scam and Spacebudz will never send you a DM on Twitter. Many Twitter users including myself have received these scam DM’s recently tempting buyers to participate in a fake mint with the new V2 art samples obviously lifted from the official discord. But like most thing too good to be true, they are fake. The V2 is a token migration for current holders only, so you will have to hold an OG Spacebudz to participate then you will be able to vote on the new 3D art in their discord. Eventually, holders will be able to trade in their original 2D jpeg for the new 3D one with new metadata. The new designs are looking are dope with brand new 3D renditions of their iconic traits and I can’t wait to see the finished product. There is no official date on the completion of version 2.
